 Is your brand safe?
We all know that the Internet has revolutionized communication and brand positioning. Great!
But the Internet is creating a new sharing phenomena of communication that anyone can instantly use. Is it a danger?
Take the example, someone goes into a “Brand X store” or “Business Y” and makes a purchase of an item to discover later that the same item is not to the buyer’s expectation.
In a minute that same person will send a “Twit” from his/her mobile phone (small message to her Twitter account) will tell 100 people that will tell another 100 that will another 100 and the list goes on. In about 30 minutes 100,000 people or more will know about it and then individuals in social networks and social bookmarks of all sorts will pick on the information and will put their own spin, before the press and news gets their hands on. So yes, this is a dramatised situation, but think of this...is your brand and business really safe?
You have now 100,000 pages talking about you. How do you control the information flow, how do you stay on top? Can you really?

So you have put your web pages on the internet and you expect people to know of your presence without promotion and marketing effort... this will not happen...
Let’s face it – NOBODY KNOWS YOU YET!
Finish creating pages for your web site is not the end. In fact, it is only the beginning. Just as completing your schooling is not the end but the beginning of your journey in the world beyond the walls of your classroom.
Unfortunately, a big number of you seem to think that the main battle has to do with the difficulties to understand HTML or for the X2 clients using a content management system (CMS) for creating your web pages.
People seems to rejoice too early as soon as their pages are live on the web.
Why, that is a big W-R-O-N-G!
Since indirectly you are operating an Internet Business promoting your products and services, like any other business, you need to communicate. You need to interact. You need to let people know you are around and open for business.
I am sure you got my point by now. If you have not been making much progress in your early stages of your Internet Business, this may very well be the reason.
To get yourself started quickly and let people know you are in business, you can do the following easily for no fees or of course you can use professional services. While you do not necessarily need money to make money on the Internet, the life and death of your business depends heavily on your sweat equity and wisdom.

So Yes! We have been telling you that for a while and you were probably
thinking it was another hype. But now there is some good statistics to
back it up. According to a social media study by Michael Stelzner for
the Social Media Success Summit 2009, 88% of marketers in a recent
survey say they are now using some form of social media to market their
business, though 72% of those using it say they have only been at it a
few months or less.

No matter what the website, in order for it to be a success one needs
to have a constant and steady stream of traffic to profit, and this is
certainly the case for those creating blogs.

Now that you have your leads, it is time to turn them into customers.
When it comes to acquiring new customers, you need to build databases
quickly and cost effectively. Most business owners would not have the
appropriate technology and advanced analytics you need to determine
your allowable cost-per-new-client, so you know your limits as well as
when to increase spending. Technology allows you to understand and
build “Business Intelligence” with your customer’s behaviours. Please
be kind to your business and the law requirements, DO NOT send email
with Outlook, as it is not SPAM compliant and does not provide you any
business intelligence to grow your business.

 Would
you rather spend an hour of your time with a customer that spends $200
or an hour with a customer that spends $500? Its a fairly obvious
answer isn't it? And you have just uncovered another core strategy to
true business success...if you can make more money from each customer
contact, you bolster your profits and vastly increase your potential
for success, and beyond! I have put together 5 often over-looked
